Summary

Kafka wants to clean up kaiju， but not literally！ Will a sudden metamorphosis stand in the way of his dream？

With the highest kaiju-emergence rates in the world， Japan is no stranger to attack by deadly monsters。 Enter the Japan Defense Force， a military organization tasked with the neutralization of kaiju。 Kafka Hibino， a kaiju-corpse cleanup man， has always dreamed of joining the force。 But when he gets another shot at achieving his childhood dream， he undergoes an unexpected transformation。 How can he fight kaiju now that he’s become one himself？！

Kaiju No。 9 shows up to steal the power of Kaiju No。 2， wielded by Defense Force Director General Isao Shinomiya。 At the end of the deadly battle， Isao manages to get No。 9 on the ropes， but he ends up exhausting all of his strength， allowing the kaiju to steal No。 2’s power。 With Isao defeated， No。 9 fuses with the director general and takes on Kafka， Kikoru， and Narumi！ Will they be able to defeat No。 9 and save their fearless leader？！

22/12/2022: Phát hành tập 7。Quá đỉnh rồi。 Một tập nhiều cảm xúc， với sự ra đi của một nhân vật có ý nghĩa lớn trong cốt truyện， nhiều cảnh chiến đấu mãn nhãn và tiếp tục là những cú xoay chuyển bất ngờ。- Sự ra đi của chỉ huy trưởng Isao là tâm điểm của tập này， khi quái vật chiếm lĩnh cơ thể của ông。 Mất mát lớn với lực lượng phòng về， niềm đau nối tiếp với Kikoru và sự bất ổn bao trùm trong không khí của cả tập。- Trước đó thì cả Narumi và Kafka đều chiến đấu rất kiên cường， khiến mình cứ không 22/12/2022: Phát hành tập 7。Quá đỉnh rồi。 Một tập nhiều cảm xúc， với sự ra đi của một nhân vật có ý nghĩa lớn trong cốt truyện， nhiều cảnh chiến đấu mãn nhãn và tiếp tục là những cú xoay chuyển bất ngờ。- Sự ra đi của chỉ huy trưởng Isao là tâm điểm của tập này， khi quái vật chiếm lĩnh cơ thể của ông。 Mất mát lớn với lực lượng phòng về， niềm đau nối tiếp với Kikoru và sự bất ổn bao trùm trong không khí của cả tập。- Trước đó thì cả Narumi và Kafka đều chiến đấu rất kiên cường， khiến mình cứ không ngừng mong chờ vào một chiến thắng diệt gọn quái vật #9。 Nhưng tất nhiên phép màu đã không diễn ra， quái vật #9 đã thoát bằng sức mạnh áp đảo + mưu mô xảo quyệt。- Đám tang của Isao và cùng với đó là sự quyết tâm của Kikoru nhằm trở nên mạnh mẽ hơn bao giờ hết。 Cố lên cô gái。 Bên cạnh đó một điểm mình thích là thế giới quan của câu chuyện tiếp tục được mở rộng ra， với đội 2 + đội 4 lần lượt xuất hiện， cùng với những nhân vật đội trưởng lần đầu có mặt trên trang truyện。 Thú vị lắm。- Chỉ huy Hoshina quay trở lại với bất ngờ nối tiếp bất ngờ。 Quái vật #10 mở ra nhiều thông tin thú vị về quái vật #9 khi mà câu chuyện tưởng chừng như đã rơi vào ngõ cụt。 Sự kết hợp khó lường khi quái vật #10 được vũ khí hóa ngay khi còn ý thức và liệu rằng đội phó ngầu đét sẽ xử lý như thế nào vẫn còn để ngỏ。- Sự kèn cựa giữa đội 1 và đội 3 và căng thẳng giữa Hoshina vs Narumi là những cảnh truyện hài hiếm hoi của tập này。 Thực sự ngưỡng mộ sensei vì có thể lồng ghép sự hài hước vô cùng tự nhiên giữa những cảnh chiến đấu căng như dây đàn。- Nút thắt cuối cùng: quái vật #10 không phải là quái vật duy nhất có vũ khí được sử dụng。 Quái vật #6， người khiến mẹ Kikoru hi sinh， sẽ được sử dụng cho Reno （yes）。 Cách mà anh chàng này được một lần nữa kết hợp vào cốt truyện chính thực sự khiến mình khâm phục tác giả， quá sáng tạo nhưng vẫn rất tự nhiên。 Chưa kể là thể hiện được nhiều sự tương đồng với anh chàng Kafka nhân vật chính。 Bản thân Reno với ham muốn bảo vệ tiền bối mãnh liệt hiển nhiên là phải đồng ý rồi， thế nên câu chuyện dẫn dắt theo hướng đi khiến mình rất hài lòng。Tập hay nhất của cả bộ cho đến thời điểm này， bên cạnh những cảnh chiến đấu triền miên thì vẫn rất khâm phục tài năng dẫn dắt cốt truyện của tác giả。 Quá xuất sắc。 。。。more

Si il y a bien une série que j’aime par dessus tout c’est bien celle ci。 C’est une vraie pépite。 Chaque tome est tout simplement incroyable。 Je suis tellement impatiente de voir l’adaptation en anime。 Ça s’annonce être une énorme masterclass， ça va tellement bien rendre à l’écran mon dieu！ Vraiment ce manga， dès le premier tome ça a été un énorme coup de coeur。 C’est tout simplement une histoire passionnante， pleine de rebondissements， avec des personnages épiques tous différents mais tous passi Si il y a bien une série que j’aime par dessus tout c’est bien celle ci。 C’est une vraie pépite。 Chaque tome est tout simplement incroyable。 Je suis tellement impatiente de voir l’adaptation en anime。 Ça s’annonce être une énorme masterclass， ça va tellement bien rendre à l’écran mon dieu！ Vraiment ce manga， dès le premier tome ça a été un énorme coup de coeur。 C’est tout simplement une histoire passionnante， pleine de rebondissements， avec des personnages épiques tous différents mais tous passionnant。 J’attends toujours chaque sortie avec grande impatience。 Je peux vous dire que maintenant j’attends celle du huitième de pied ferme！Dans ce septième tome， alors que le directeur， Isao Shinomiya， semble sur le point de triompher du terrible Kaiju n° 9 au terme d’un combat titanesque， un étrange phénomène se produit… Dans un ultime effort， l’ennemi parvient finalement à atteindre son objectif en absorbant les pouvoirs du n° 2， puis tente de prendre la fuite。 Mais c’est sans compter Kafka， Kikoru et Narumi qui ont accouru sur les lieux pour l’arrêter ！Que dire mais que dire！ Je me suis encore pris une sacré claque。 De toute façon chaque tome lu me procure la sensation de me prendre la claque de ma vie。 C’est vraiment un manga épatant qui apporte son lot de surprises à chaque tome。 J’ai eu de la peine par contre pendant ma lecture， je ne dirais pas non plus le pourquoi du comment pour éviter de spoiler mais vraiment j’ai eu le coeur brisé。 Mais j’ai aussi été surprise， notamment concernant le Kaiju n°9 et le n°10。 Ça promet d’être très intéressant pour la suite… Mais j’ai aussi beaucoup ris！ Notamment lorsque la 1ère et la 3ème unité se retrouvent ensemble。 Les voir se crêper le chignon comme ça c’était vraiment hilarant。 J’ai hâte de voir comment ils vont finir par s’en sortir sans se foutre sur la gueule les uns sur les autres。。Un septième tome toujours aussi bon que les premiers。 Je n’ai clairement rien à redire dessus。 chaque tome est parfait， cette histoire arrive toujours à nous surprendre， elle sait se renouveler et ça c’est vraiment génial。 J’adore le personnage de Narumi， il me fait tellement rire celui là！ Je crois même que c’est le personnage que je préfère dans ce manga， il est exceptionnel！ Je suis impatiente de voir la suite avec le prochain tome， d’autant plus que celui si ce termine d’une façon！ J’ai vraiment hâte de voir tout ça！ 。。。more

[Review of volumes 5-7]I think the largely drawn and badly focused panels mostly fail to deliver impact。 It emphasizes a lot of unnecessary scenes without really much substance to back them up。 Moreover， the dialogue and narrative flow also seemed to be written lazily。 Combining all of these， emotional scenes fall flat。 Everything just seems half-hearted。 However， some characters are pretty cool and the hype keeps this going so there is that。
